Diocletian’s Palace
Marching through the Golden Gate and into the Peristyle, the Legion rekindles the power of Rome within the emperor’s ancient walls, turning the palace into a living stage of discipline and imperial might.
The performance begins at the Golden Gate, where the Legion marches into the palace in disciplined formation while chanting roman songs. Upon reaching the Peristyle, the soldiers demonstrate Rome’s signature maneuvers — the muro, testudo, aciem, and more — each executed with precision and strength.
Commands ring out, shields rise in unison, and the Peristyle becomes a living display of Roman military skill.
When the drill concludes, the Legion forms up once more and circles the palace, chanting traditional Roman songs that echo through the ancient halls and courtyards. For a moment, the palace awakens to the sound, order, and spirit of Rome reborn.
